Visitor Program
Our volunteers are caring, compassionate individuals who are committed to the non-medical, comfort care and support of people experiencing a life-limiting illness, their families and caregivers.
Bereavement Support
BV Hospice provides compassionate and respectful support for those who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Our support workers are trained and experienced to accompany you in your grief journey.
Equipment Loan
BV Hospice Society has electric hospital beds, specialized mattresses, recliner lift chairs, wheelchairs, walkers and other medical equipment available for loan for those at end of life, at no charge.
Threshold Choir
The Smithers Threshold Singers offer the gift of song to people who are seriously ill, dying or grieving. Their songs are simple messages of love and kindness.
Advance Care Planning
Ensure your loved ones are aware of your health care wishes, in the event you are no longer able to speak for yourself. Discuss, plan and document.
